I put the one for the red color in root's .bashrc and the one for returning to the default color in root's .bash_logout.

I often wonder if the existence of these simulation games are some form of coping mechanism - where we contextualize the world virtually to deal with an external reality. In this case, the increasing risk of destructive wildfire in the climate crisis.
