🎥 In today’s episode of National Animal Planet Geographic: rare footage of an iOS widget updating its content in the wild.
I’ve been debugging a new widget and added a formatted Date() to it to test the update policy 😅

🔢 Starting with version 2.4.2, my expense tracker app Numi supports many numeral systems.
Here’s an example using Western and Eastern Arabic numerals. You can also type or paste Thai, Persian, Devanagari numbers and more

I love getting emails like this. I spend a lot of time designing my apps and it’s very motivating and rewarding knowing that people appreciate it ☺️

🇹🇭 For people wondering if it’s safe in Thailand…
Yesterday during my walk I got surrounded by 4 Thai individuals on their bikes 😨
They smiled and said hello and told me they’re 8,8,9 and 12.
So far most dangerous thing that’s happened to me in 7 years here 🙃
@technicat you know? Skoro+ is $0.99 per month. And there’s also a lifetime option that’s just a few dollars. I think this person would complain even if the price is few cents.
@nuclearplayer oh! Does it work? Wouldn’t positive reviews be better for your website? 😅
My “otherwise good” app just got its first hater 😢 And I can tell you Skoro wasn’t mentally ready for this.
If you want to show your support, here’s Skoro on the App Store:

☺️ Another happy user of my score tracking app Skoro.

@amyworrall ah got it! I feel the same. There are some good things that can happen now too, of course. I think it’s good when people have a choice. And I think it would be nice if installing your own app on your own iPhone would be easier (let’s say you made something just for yourself or your family). But in terms of payments and business partnership I’m very happy with Apple 🙂
@amyworrall 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t feel competent enough to answer this part about how Apple let it get here.
But what do you mean about competing on value, Amy? What are you suggesting? Who should have done what?
👨🏻💻 As an indie iOS developer, I’m not planning to add external payment methods to my apps.
Apple helps me with discoverability, handles payments, refunds and… taxes! 😍
And I can focus on what I love the most: designing and developing my apps:

What about you?
@isurujn oh, my body is also very stiff. I think I was the worst person in yoga class actually 😅 But teacher and everyone was super nice. And I felt great after the classes.
My yoga teacher told me: “in yoga we don’t live with pain. If you feel pain you are trying too hard. Let go a little.”
@Wojtyr I think I can understand why. It seems to have a very holistic approach to your body. Improving strength and mobility. And also being so relaxing.
At least from a perspective of someone who tried it one time so far 😅
@mlysons yeah it was great! I’ve signed up for next classes already.
Are you planning to go back to yoga? Or doing some other exercises?
@bestmacfly it was awesome! So much fun 😀
@mlysons thanks, Michael! I needed to Google DOMS 😅 I’m really new at this
🧘🏻♂️ Today I’m going to do yoga for the first time in my life.
Pray for me 😅
🥳 Version 2.4 of my expense-tracking app Numi is now on the App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/app/id1636232810
You can now tap a category or subtotal on the Summary screen to see all the related transactions. To finally know how much eating pizza affects your monthly budget 🙃

🥳 Another happy customer of my scoreboard app Skoro in the UK 🇬🇧
Good UX has always been a priority for me. I put a lot of effort into making my apps easy to use, and it’s always great to see that reflected in App Store reviews.
