Progress on the art quilt. I have only about a million more flamingo cutouts to arrange, but it's looking good.

On the light and medium pink pinned art quilt I'm making, a poem I wrote about hate and love printed in dark pink letters on white fabric, surrounded by three salmon, white and black fabric flamingo and white and dusty pink cutouts, on top of a wide swatch of white, pink black flamingo novelty fabric.

When life gets rough, I turn to #3GoodThings to cheer me.

1. I got a redo with my 12 y.o. daughter this morning after an argument. She missed the bus and had to come back home. The 2nd time she left, she smiled and said "I love you."

2. My editing income is keeping the family in the black during the #shutdown. 🤯

3. It's Friday. Our family will gather after dinner to watch the Bake-off finale. We're on pins and needles. :)
