I'm so bummed that I couldn't get ambient occlusion to work in Pandemonium! with ReShade. There is something weird going on with the depth buffer, I managed to get only fake global illumination in screen space.
I'm interested in #webdev and #gamedev
Also digital #illustrator and mixed-media artist.

Glasgow Bridge (also known as the Jamaica Street Bridge) across the Clyde in Glasgow. The first bridge was built here in 1772 by John Smeaton, and it was later replaced with a new one, designed by Thomas Telford, in 1833. The current bridge, designed by Blyth and Westland and built in the 1890s, is an expanded version of Telford's design. This was the first bridge in Glasgow to be lit by electricity.

People always tell me #Glasgow is cold, but I've only experienced scorching heat since I moved here :wyd:
I went on a side-quest to uplift the graphics of the classic game Pandemonium! with the help of ReShade: https://www.laskov.co.uk/reshade-pandy/
@Star12Mt thank you, I think of it as isometric grid it's easy this way
Another of my architectural fantasy sketches, this one is a school. Watercolor and ballpoint pen.
A rather beautiful Art Nouveau tile design in a tenement close in the Broomhill area of Glasgow.

Anyone know why people tied bundles of wheat to their doors in #Lautrec?
I've taken up to #swimming twice per week at the Strathclyde University swimming pool. It is a good complement to weightlifting, and university pools are the best in my experience.

Love this gable sculptural work featuring a native North American in full head-dress on the Wellington Street elevation of Glasgow's Central Thread Agency building. Built in the 1890s, the sculptures are by McGilvary and Ferris and this is just one of a series of masks representing people from different parts of the world.

Japan's LGBTQ community has made some important strides in the past few decades, but much work remains. In particular, the Japanese trans community is facing increased discrimination of the kind witnessed in the US and Britain.
@Osfast that's amazing I thought they were separate pieces :blobaww:
I bought a book about oil #painting by Michael Crespo. This is a bit of a curveball, because my cunning plan is to use acrylics. Acrylic and oil are very similar, just that acrylic will dry faster and can be done on any surface (it's plastic). It was "fast oil" used mainly by illustrators in the 80s. It gradually gained acceptance in fine art, but Crespo did not write about it. However, he is great teacher, so I would rather follow his lessons than another author.
@agenderfox @bookstodon admittedly, yes a little bit ;-)
