In related news, I might be gainfully employed again after almost 2 years, not in my field, but somewhere that will let me pay the bills. Still looking in my field (red team, blue team, I do it all), but at least we won't be living in my car now. It does make interview scheduling suck, tho. Still unclear as to whether I'm going to have 40h/week. Baby steps.

I don't know if I've ever related this story to anyone, but...

Imprinted is a remix of Imprint. When I opened Imprint on a newer version of FL Studio to check a sample, I found that my lead synth plugin arp had just started randomly inserting new notes. No other synth has ever done that in any other song, and since it fit the spooky intent of the original and the extra notes were all in the right key, I immediately wrote the remix. Like immediately. I dropped everything else for the rest of the day and banged it out.

I've written maybe two albums' worth of new music since the last time I made anything public.
