Water will just stop coming out of your tap throughout the day in Mexico City. Some neighborhoods have sewage mixed with their tap water and have had for years.

Around 40% of the water is wasted to leaks in city pipes. If they could fix that it would almost make the droughts ok for a good while longer.

Of course the whole mess is Spain’s fault for draining a lake to build the city. 😁
