TIL that bash allows you to put leading zeroes in ranges and it'll do the correct thing:

for n in {01..10}; do echo $n; done

outputs:

01, 02, 03, …, 10

No more messing about with printf for simple ranges. Wheee!

Alright, AI proponents - you win. I've long been an AI skeptic but I'm finally converted. I've found an opportunity where AI fits perfectly into my workflow, and makes me more productive:

I'm writing a list of multiple choice questions, and need a lot of wrong answers. As you can see, AI is perfect for the job!

Jetzt muss ich jedes Mal, wenn ich die Wohnung verlassen will, an den Psychotherapeuten von der Neurodiversitätstagung denken, der sagte: "Manche haben so ausgeprägte Sozialphobie, dass sie nicht rausgehen, wenn sie jemanden im Treppenhaus hören", und wie ich in dem Moment "wait what, das machen nicht alle so?" dachte. Ich frage euch jetzt nicht. Ihr seid bestimmt auch nicht repräsentativ.

The street that my mum lives in is a one-way street, but wasn't marked as such on #Google Maps. This caused many drivers to drive the wrong way. I have tried to edit it on Google Maps (there is such functionality), but to no avail. No matter how often I submitted a change (with photos of street signs!), Google said "Sorry, we could not verify it".

Solution: Edit the street on #OpenStreetMap! A few months after I did this, Google seems to have stolen the data, as it regularly does, and now the street is correct in both datasets!
