When using Telegram my Thinkpad temperature goes quickly up to 83 Centigrades.

A bit extreme.
No doubt the future is Wayland, but there are people (like me) attached to software which is not making it to Wayland (XMonad).

We are moving on ...now Niri/Wayland.

Been blocking quite a lot (Porn advertisers and trolls barking against alternative information)

Años que uso XMonad en X11 y pienso es hora de seguir la corriente.
Yo opté por Niri estando ahora en Wayland.
Hay cosas que aún no funcionan cómo debía ser (copy/paste usando emacs-wayland).
No dudo que todo esto se corrige con el tiempo.

Agree yours on systemd.

Linux is more compatible with modern hardware is the main point. (OpenBSD does not install on my Thinkpad P16s with nvme, failing on the installboot)

OpenBSD does not have f.e. Zotero, I need for my work.

I have no doubt that one day OpenBSD will reach all the missing issues, and I would not need Linux.
