Oh look at that ant mill. The ants will walk in a circle until they die. Humans would never be dumb enough to do that.

Anyhow, time to reply-all to this entire company mailing list with "please take me off this mailing list" We're up to ~100 replies asking to stop the chain, if we keep replying, we'll stop the emails once someone in control gets the message.

Gitlab templates:
Here is nearly an empty yaml script. So empty, so clear and easy! Where is the code? In another yaml script over there. That yaml script is nearly empty, so empty, so clear, so easy! Where has the code been abstracted to? In another mostly empty yaml script over there... you have grown old, you haven't found the bash. It was a foolish quest, your quest had no meaning if you stop looking, the bash has been abstracted to another yaml script over there, so empty so clear, so easy!

@dabeaz The elevators at the hotel at pygotham 2019 represented a floor as a float, could stop at floor 2 or 2.7. Most dangerous elevator I ever rode.

@krusynth Yes, psychologists study this. Neuron firing speed is our brains clock. Changes with age. Sure it changes with other situational things.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I’ve been made redundant at my job. If you want to hire an excellent Apple platforms developer (iOS, etc.) with 17 years of experience, time at Apple, and lots of SwiftUI experience, or a great Ruby on Rails developer, reach out.

Full-time or freelance. Ready to go immediately. Please spread the word. #Swift #RubyOnRails #GetFediHired

I notice my laptop is getting a little chubby around the battery storage area. Obvious this means I've download too much from the internet. I'll put it on an exercise regime and run it around the clock until it slims down again.

We now have a political assassin impersonating a police officer on the loose in Minnesota, which, aside from being horrifying in and of itself, underscores the danger of the proliferation of anonymous federal law enforcement deployments from a wide variety of unfamiliar agencies conducting aggressive immigration operations across the country.

Is that uniformed person who's stopping you or demanding entry to your home legit or a psychotic vigilante seeking to harm you? It's impossible to know.

@RikerGoogling The unblur button or generative fill. Depends on if you want to see what those pixels were or what they could be.

And put some clothes on! Generative fill says your profile photo was taken before you even got dressed!

@zachweinersmith.bsky.social A, because Stockfish can't do anything novel, like I don't know, 5-d chess. Which would mean LLMs understand chess better because it can muddle through novel situations, despite being a lousy chess player and has a hard time visualizing the chess board and playing by the rules.

@kidpixo Mkdocs falls between pdoc3 and sphinx as far as power and simplicity go.

Here an example of doing it 5 different ways and appropriately, the sphinx version is broken
