@Moosader I really like instant boot to BASIC. The original, and somewhat rare, Apple II booted instantly to a screen of flashing characters -- press Reset to get to the machine language monitor, press Ctrl+B to get to Integer BASIC. The Apple II+ instantly booted to Applesoft BASIC, unless there was a floppy disk attached -- press Reset to stop the disk from spinning and get to Applesoft BASIC. Without a disk (and Disk Operating System) you may have to SAVE to cassette tape like on the Vic-20
All the Adventures reaches the conclusion of Crypt of Medea, with a wild ending

Floppy controller, 128k and serial card. Can’t complain!
She works. The non retrobrighted monitor is bringing the aesthetics down :)
My series on the Sir-Tech Apple II game Crypt of Medea continues, as I wade through numerous deathtraps and blood.
Also, a comparison between the Wizardry manual and the Crypt of Medea manual.

One last thing. I’ve read you can only use 2 disk drives on the IIc and in some places they say you can add a third if it’s a unidisk. So. Yeah, three will work if there’s a unidisk in the chain.
Some retorbrighting and gear changing will happen later. But for now she’s working.
Well that’s perfect :). Time to order some new gears just in case.
And it won’t accept a disk but it’s detected. Common issue, I’ll bet bad gears in it. Time to take it apart.
I managed to get a "for parts" #Quicktake 150 for 15 euros, it only needed 15 minutes of work to "fix it" (the Trash button was stuck down). Here's its first picture!
more Apple II `Peasant's Quest' sprite sheets.
Who knew actually finishing a game would be so much work.
My working Apple II/E at home. It’s still working.
