Watched “A Man On The Inside” after reading it was another Michael Schur surprise (laugh/cry) and it was. Not quite on the same scale as The Good Place in terms of the world building and story but damn I was touched and it was funny. Such good work by Stephanie Beatriz and Ted Danson.

@andreas_heitmann @georgetakei May have just been my perception but there was a point where he was promoting meditation and a kind of global spirituality, cooperating as humans to make the world better. The world needs a John Lennon type with a sharp sense of humor but he ain’t it, unfortunately. He’s more of a Joe Rogan, who also CAN be thoughtful but does more harm than good (probably) … apparently.

@Irishmasms @NPR Have you been to a CVS pharmacy lately? I would do just about anything to avoid going to one. And as they try to “cut costs” they lose more and more business. They pay employees poorly, under-schedule and overwork them. Close for lunch instead of adding an employee to cover lunch. Employees don’t have time to answer the phone working by themselves with a line of customers and filling the prescriptions as well.

That thing where you put on a fresh pair of socks and one has a hole so you think well I went to all that trouble to pull it on, this will be your last day little buddy, I’ll just throw you away after I wear you one last time. #LastDaySocks

Last chance underwear happen now and again as well but I guess it depends on where the hole is.

I had a Covid and flu shot four hours ago and happy to say zero reaction as of yet. Probably the only time I’ve had any vaccine and didn’t get a big swelling in my arm and minor fever chills at some point. I had to call off sick from work after the Moderna vax part 2. So far it’s a 👍🏻👍🏻

@trinitybat Question if you might be willing to share… I also tapered off my SSRI’s while recovering and in therapy, found great benefit in regaining the feeling of being a person. Sex drive bounced back. No regrets. I also have kept lamictal and find it very hard to taper.

Have you managed to go off the lamictal at all? If so, have you seen any upsides similar to antidepressants? If none of those…anything else you can share?

Updating to Windows 11 took about 3 hours. Fixing Microsoft Teams to get my computer to keep a version that functions with my work accounts instead of overwriting it with an older version that doesn’t…over and over…still in progress on day two.
