Another one of my all-time favorite Creek images.
The setting. The vibe. The mood.
Perfect.

@Sterling I don't really recall having Hamburger Helper when I was young. Maybe at someone else's house, but definitely not my own.
There's just something about parmesan sawdust on a meat sauce with spaghetti really hits home.
I don't recall there ever being real Parmigiano Reggiano when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. Obviously, it was there in some shops, but my parents never would have spent that much money on it.
This is not Parmigiano Reggiano.
In fact, by many opinions, this may not even technically be considered cheese of any kind.
However, I hate the fact that when put on homemade meat sauce and spaghetti, it creates a nostalgia that I do indeed love.
Hell, I don't even buy a name brand even.
🎧 Rage Against The Machine's 1992 album "Rage Against The Machine" 🎧
With Kralizec ready to be unleased upon the planet, RATM feels just about right this morning.

Of all the unlikely 'ships in this world, this is indeed one of the most unlikeliest.
Gidan-Kuroki's got some great stuff in her Deviant Art gallery.

I truly wish I had more wall space to hang my favorite pop culture related art pieces up in framed full size glory!
"Zoes and Zeldas" might work at the top of the steps though.

Apparently a genAI image of Anubis and Wepwawet.
If true, I do like that it seems Wepwawet appears like a wolf and less jackal, which has some historical accuracy.
The gray color remains questionable in the historical evidence.
🎧 Currently Playing • Yazoo's 1982 album "Upstairs At Eric's" 🎧
Definitely has that Depeche Mode "Speak and Spell" vibe to a lot of it.
Those vocals by Alison Moyet. One of the GOATs!

I had a brief moment like this today, but mostly caused by the intense pain I am currently dealing with.
The 3 mugs of coffee did not help either.

Not sure I want to know what the plastic bags on the heads represents.

🎧 Currently Playing • Yo La Tengo's 1997 album "I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One" 🎧
Another band that I knew of but really didn't listen to back in the 90s.

🖸 Unexpected Song Find Of The Day 🖸
I decided to go random this afternoon and after about an hour I'm "What the hell is that?"
Who knew Heaven 17 did a cover of "Don't Fear The Reaper" in 2005.
And it is danceable!!!
True dat!
At least Chopper listens to Jacen Syndulla's mother.
Well...
Mostly.
🖸 Favorite Nala Songs 🖸
I know "CODES and KEYS" is not one of Gibbard's favorite periods, but I love the dearly album and my inner 18-year old is especially fond of "You Are A Tourist".
So I found the 6-volume complete run of Alan Moore's "The Saga of The Swamp Thing" for for a great price so I snagged it.
I sold off my individual issues during The Great 2007 Comics Purge event.
I'll get to revisit the art of Stephen Bissette, John Totleben, Rick Veitch, and Alfredo Alcala soon!
It has been a very long time.
