it's a sampling device, needs sent back to a lab for "metabarcoding" (analysing the ecological landscape contained in the sample)

i've (thankfully) never been asked to work on this stuff, hasn't stopped me wondering how near to realtime, close to the field you could get the analysis stage. You know, for obvious art project purposes :/
