Held my wife’s Celebration of Life yesterday. So much stress leading up to it, compounded by my procrastination tendencies. So many (about 80!) great friends and family members attended. Some really great words were said and my slide presentation was shown. Many people said it was wonderful, so I’m choosing to ignore my usual self-criticism and believe them.

I'm a huge advocate for making apps accessible, but I find myself saying "fuck it" when dealing with Liquid Glass.
It's not possible to maintain contrast across a range of app content with a text label that's non-deterministic. When someone who's empathetic to the needs of others gives up, it's a huge loss.
Apple has a well earned reputation for accessibility and Alan Dye is fucking that up for a lot of folks who need affordances.
We should not be choosing between the lesser of two evils.

I always wanted to be able to construct SwiftUI animation keyframes in runtime. Figured out yesterday (yes, I'm that slow), how to do that.
Turns out you can use `resultBuilder` functions directly inside the resultBuilder. So, for example, you can use `Builder. buildArray` with a custom array, that is constructed in runtime! This is so much better than what I was doing before!

🎵 I have always loved “Never the Same” by Echolyn (the entire “As the World” album is brilliant), but yesterday it wrecked me. 😭
@bigzaphod It occurred to me a couple weeks ago that there is likely significant overlap between people paying solid money for AI code and those who always complained about the price of dev tools like xScope, Kaleidoscope, and Tower. Hurts my brain.

Oh I see the absurdly, negligently insecure Tea app is now getting the "hackers hacked" treatment, so that it can comfortably deflect blame to some unspecified scary hackers?

📢 Centering "hackers" means helping let those responsible for the horrendous negligence at Tea off the hook.
