A Palestinian child was shot dead by Israeli forces in a military raid in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, medics said.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said a 12-year-old boy was shot in the face and abdomen in Yamon town, west of Jenin city in the northern West Bank.
According to witnesses, Israeli army forces raided the town, triggering clashes with angry residents during which Israeli soldiers used live fire and tear gas canisters.

The failure to stop Israel’s genocidal attacks on the Gaza Strip has exposed the shortcomings of international legal mechanisms and renewed urgent calls to reform the UN, former South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor told Anadolu.

The UN on Monday marked 50 days since Israel imposed a complete blockade on humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, warning of a rapidly deteriorating situation that is endangering the lives of civilians.
"Today marks 50 days since the Israeli authorities have completely blocked incoming supplies of any kind into the Gaza Strip," UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said at a news conference.

Israeli soldiers stormed a home in the town of Kafr Al-Dik, in the northern occupied West Bank. They came looking for former detainee Ahmed Abdul Karim Al-Dik.
But when they couldn’t find him, they took his 12-year-old son.
Israeli soldiers blindfolded and handcuffed the young child. They then took a photo of him in that condition and sent it to his father via WhatsApp, threatening to kidnap the rest of the family unless he turned himself in.
