When going to higher display resolutions in #phosh #stevia's 🎹 can become a bit small to type with (as our ☝️s usually don't adjust to display size). I've thus cooked up an MR that allows to keep the physical size of the OSK constant (in portrait mode for now).

On top of that one can add a "dead zone" at the bottom of the OSK which helps on taller devices like the #OP6 as the πŸ“± otherwise tends to tilt when typing on the bottom row.

For me this is a typing speed booster.

Estonian engineers found that 15-year-old smartphones, when hacked to work together as a single self-organized unit, can handle many such tasks, including image recognition, with unexpected ease. How did they turn a bunch of old phones into a mini datacenter? spectrum.ieee.org/smartphone-d

It is so cool!
I am by no means an expert in those things but I got a linux OS running on a new smartphone.
This is a Fairphone 6 running PostmarketOS with Phosh and I love it.
Thank you @postmarketOS @phosh for all the great work.

It's so annoying that the exploit for the BlackBerry Key 2 LE is proprietary.

No, I'm not executing your random binary with full root rights.

Yes, I would like Linux on my BlackBerry Key 2 LE.

But I will wait for someone (with the right knowledge, not me) to reverse the binary so we can have a FOSS version...

Also, I'd love porting Mobian to this thing.

Excited to announce that @Logical_Error is now a Trusted Contributor in postmarketOS! πŸ₯³

He has been contributing to postmarketOS since 2018, mostly porting the MSM8960-based Samsung Galaxy Express SGH-I437 (samsung-expressatt), first downstream and then mainline, mainlining various patches and testing releases. He plans to do more mainlining of that device, PinePhone Pro and Microsoft Surface RT.
