To my non-german friends and followers: today's general election in Germany will most likely result in big gains for the far-right AfD party

This does NOT mean that they will become part of a governing coalition. All parties from left to right have committed themselves to NOT form a coalition with or depend on support from the far-right AfD

We will know more tomorrow, when the results are in. Here in Germany we are all anxious what will happen next and who will form a government. Wish us luck!
