LLMs exist to crush labour. That's not even my surmise, the people paying billions of dollars to fund this stuff are extremely open and explicit that this is their goal.

There are no ethical use cases for LLMs at this point in time. Maybe when the bubble has popped thoroughly. Not before.

@jenny753 FWIW Bandcamp explicitly says in its terms of service that they can't do that. Idk about MixCloud, but I do know that MixCloud widgets don't enforce DRM which already makes them way less evil than SoundCloud.

SoundCloud has updated their Terms of Use and state that you agree anything you upload can be used to train AI models.

Please spread the word on this.

Edit: From replies, it looks like this may not be active in Canada, but is in the US, Mexico, UK and several EU countries.
