I think that trans issues are an inalienable part of feminism, in the sense that anti-trans sentiment is itself a way our society reproduces the sexual division of labor that defines the status of women in society.

Just thinking about how in one year, the destruction of the US's small but growing green energy and climate change industry is unilaterally surrendering vast economic power to China without a fight. While we're going to be forced to continue investing more and more and more in drilling for less and less nonrenewable energy, countries who have transitioned to majority green power won't be needing to pay for fuel at all. The only expenses are maintenance and replacement at end of life. In the long run, renewables win every time. And we're just giving up without even trying.

We're literally making ourselves a pariah state unilaterally. Leaving a treaty every country on earth is a signatory to.
