German magazine "Politik und Kultur", Germany's largest cultural policy newspaper, published it's July/August edition, which features a special issue on demoscene and retro-computing. (in German)

It's in total 14(!) pages of articles, interviews and demoscene art (executable graphics and screenshots from demos, together with code snippets that create parts of the screen/image).

It's a great showcase of the demoscene, through the traditional media lens.

@qdot One of @Truck 's biggest strengths is that he spares neither trouble nor expense to explain intricate tinkering to the audience in minute and accessible detail once it sparks his interest. And we wanted to keep at least the YouTube channel alive for now.

The logo is a circular barcode encoding a 40-bit value; a unique ID that the 'ShotCode' web service rerouted to a destination URL

This service and host website are well defunct (last active: 2007)

The Revision logo is a cryptic artifact, reproduced in many digital releases from the party, absent of this context.
A mystery in the demoscene archives that will await future historians.
