@camwilson Do bots count?
It's Friday. Don't forget to vibe push to PROD on your way out!
This is the most helpfully packaged box of screws I've ever seen, by a large margin. I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate whomever was responsible for such a triumph of utility and empathy.
@camwilson More time on the oval! 🏉

On 6 December, the Australian Bureau of Statistics made a significant update to its occupations list: Design has been recognised as its own group for the first time! 🎉
While service design is still notably absent, it's encouraging to see updates like UI/UX Designer now including discovery, journey mapping and strategy alignment. This reflects a more modern understanding of design's role in enhancing customer experiences and driving measurable business outcomes.

As a business owner this quote terrifies me, but I acknowledge it is true.

I've been loosely following what's happening in AI and LLMs for the past couple of years, but lately have been taking an increased professional interest.
By far, the best thing I've read summarising the innovations and impacts in this space over the past year, is @simon's “Things we learned about LLMs in 2024”

it is CRAZY to me in the year 2025. — when literally every publisher is desperate to find a way to directly reach their audience — that news outlets do NOT enthusiastically support RSS feeds with options like feeds for individual authors or sections!!!
Historically, I've just been a consumer of content on Mastodon, primarily in technology and business content. 2025 might be a good year to start sharing a bit more.
I've been on this platform about two years and I've never done an introductory post. I suppose the start of 2025 is as good of a time as any...
I'm Scott, founder of Traceably (traceably.io), a customer journey map management platform which will be launching later this year.

Ah, it’s that time of the year in Canberra’s outer inner-north, where the smell of burning rubber fills the air. #Summernats

@simonbs Brilliant! This was literally my one feature request. So much fun, thank you!
