Yesterday DHS Police deployed this green smoke in addition to teargas, pepper balls, and flash bang grenades in Portland, OR outside of the ICE facility.

Today’s symptoms reports from people exposed last night so far include: flu like symptoms, asthma attacks, nausea, someone has said their eyes still haven’t cleared up and they’re having issues seeing today, multiple unexpected periods, cramping, breathing issues, smokers saying it hurts too much to smoke, sneezing blood. This is not including massive bruises, welts and swelling on many people

Today's #NoKings protest in #SanJose wasn't an SF or LA in size, but it was decently large. And since SJPD didn't start any shit, there wasn't any shit!

I think it's safe to say that the US flag has been successfully reclaimed at this point. Something like ⅔-¾ of the people who had a flag had a US flag, whether it was normal, upside-down, or a Pride variant. Still tons of Mexico, California, and various Pride flags, as well as a ton of others.

Lots of great signs, too! Some favorites below.

Some of you protesting are far too into publicly posting identifiable pics and videos of folks in protest crowds without good reason.

If you brought a camera to the protest point it at the authorities, not your compatriots. Document and publicize incidents of abuse, but don't facilitate your fellow protestors being identified and punished for showing up. Assume every face you post will be recognized and catalogued. They're not there to be your photo op.

I've been involved in coordinating legal support for people arrested at protests for many years now. Last night, I witnessed the mass arrest of anti-ICE protestors in San Francisco.

If you know someone who was arrested at a protest in the Bay, have them contact Legal Solidarity Bay Area at (510) 250-1700 for support when they are able. San Francisco does not use cash bail, and people are usually released on their own recognizance.

@Slagh @dngrs The wall warts in the US don't have a standard orientation; they either point down from the outlet, or off to one side, almost always pointing in the direction that's most obtrusive.

The only advantage we have is that wall warts tend to have non-earthed and non-polarized plugs, so you can usually at least rotate them 180°.
