Some of them run the dishwasher, and, why? I might have to specify that they do not. I’m pretty sure the main component of my air fryer is not dishwasher-safe, but where did I find it today? In the dishwasher.

My cleaners are usually a different person every time, and they always do an excellent, excellent job, but each and every one of them do something that I don’t have an explanation for.
More aquafit news: I own aquafit gloves now, a freebie from a fellow regular. The gloves are too big for her hands, and they fit me just right, so she got another aquafit regular, the seamstress, to clone them to her size, and she gave me the ones, anyway, I own aquafit gloves now.
Quiet night tonight.
I know a guy like Carol.
Any Southern #Ontario #music nerds around here? In the winter, I'll be once again teaching my class on the history of that part of the province where we'll meet (roughly Peel and the GTA) and am looking for music - as old or as new, in any style - with local resonance to play before class. I have ideas, but would love more.
Thanks for the help!

@jarek The tofurkey burrito is called The Henry, if it helps jog a memory. I also love/hate the ambiance. The ceiling of the basement is too low, but I also kind of like that. I’m very much not their target market, which is Main St. hipsters, which I’m not, but whom I like being around, especially when I lived in the area. Cambie St. was more my speed.
It’s funny to think that the situation in Pluribus is what some people think is ideal.
Quiet night tonight.
I bought those supplies in advance of the generative art workshop I attended in 2024. https://www.sspboyd.ca/projects/generative-art-workshop
I’m about to put the supplies I bought thinking generative art would be a hobby of mine into a box and likely forgetting that I was interested in doing it.
I settled on a banh mi sandwich.
I did a really good job today, and I think I deserve something nice.
I’ll just have to dance-cry to their recorded music this go-round.
Cut Copy is currently touring “North America” and is incorrectly not rolling through Canada.
@jarek I’ve been going to Burrito Boyz (they welcome me by name now, heh). For a while it was Fat Bastard. I’m supposed to love Los Compas but, sigh, I don’t. Burrito Gordito (RIP) had the second-best burrito I’ve ever had (giant halibut burrito). The spicy tofurkey burrito at Budgies Burritos in Vancouver still holds the crown.
