It was calm, focused, and got out of your way. macOS 26 throws that away for something that feels like a design student's portfolio piece: too big, too iPad, too loud, too illegible. It’s all flash, no soul. It will take years to scale this mess back into something focused and usable.

@simonbs It will happen at some point, but not soon. It was only possible recently after I rewrote it to SwiftUI. And iOS brings a whole lot of problems: no background work, memory limits, old slow phones, less technical users (which means more support), etc.
Also new:
- Prevent accidental window closing for certain apps by disabling the red traffic light button.
- Added Finder context menu actions: “Remove All Image Metadata” and “Remove Image Location Metadata”.
How is this better than the built-in Shortcuts menu bar thing?
- One less menu bar item
- Closes the menu when running a shortcut
- Shortcuts can be shown in a submenu
- Visually less noisy
New in Supercharge:
You can now run shortcuts from the Shortcuts app directly from the Supercharge menu.
This is especially powerful as shortcuts can run AppleScript and shell scripts.
Launch apps, run scripts, automate tasks.
I'm looking for more beta testers for the next major version of Gifski (video to animated GIF). It now has video cropping and GIF preview (although not fully done).
