This is a black and white cityscape photo of a tall, triangular shaped high-rise, that, with the perspective of distant converging lines gives the impression that the top of the building disappears into infinity (space). Transamerica Building (2018).

On either side of the photo are two rectangular high-rise buildings, that with optical distortion, give the impression that the two buildings lean inwards slightly towards the centre. Both buildings are light or pale grey. The left is the more modern with multiple 'bay' shaped balconies, so perhaps residential or a hotel. The right older block has numerous evenly spaced rectangular windows with an external fire escape and pipework. In the centre of the image is our tall, triangular, high-rise office block. The camera is angled upwards towards the upper floors. The building is brilliant white with tall rectangular windows. It tapers evenly and sharply with a pointed top. With the perspective of 'converging lines' the tip of the tower seems to go on forever and finish in space, if at all. The sky around the summits of the buildings is clear and cloudless, rendered jet black and devoid of any detail.

The Building is the 48 story, 260m tall, Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco's Financial District.
