@ancientsounds the camera has a fixed focus but just getting it enabled is a big step. Now it's all about trying to figure out the rest. It's still probably 18 months out I would guess. We definitely want to incorporate upstream in one of the camera libraries

@karolherbst that's one but also they aren't thinking about their upstream at all. As whole open source communities are not going to be pleased to be associated with a company that is not a moral fit.

Framework is looking at this as purely a business transaction not understanding how it affects their relationship with software communities. The CEO and others don't really have much experience with open source communities.

Now their tent will have more Nazis.
