In retrospect you probably shouldn't go up against writers in a contest of who can keep doing something longer while not making any money.
Hello Everyone! This week's episode is hot off the audio press.
Rachel talks about a newly described species of crinoid from the deep waters of the southern ocean while Kirk talks about a study showing that the smell of fresh cut grass may actually be a cry for help.

Beecher's Trilobite Bed yields AMAZING trilobites with soft tissues thanks to pyrite. This site was influential for trilobite paleontology. Its discovery in the 1890s confirmed trilobites had antennae which changed how we reconstructed them as seen in these before and after diagrams. Science in action!!

💎NEW EPISODE💎This week, Dr. Alexis Katsis from @luxescipod joins us to talk about the more luxurious side of science. In the news, we're talkin about cyborg cells and chaotic jewelry.

NEW EPISODE! https://www.podbean.com/eas/pb-n4c4n-13a4334
How about an animal that, and I'm quoting Rachel here, kills things by "Being Slowly sucked into the mouth of your Cousin." Confused? You'll just have to listen.
Victoria unravels the mystery of a brain disease that may tie together, bats, mystery toxins, seeds, war, human diets and even alzheimer's and ALS.
Kirk wraps things up this week by detailing the deeply disturbing life cycle of the human parasite the Guinea Worm.
Symphyla are tiny, fast-moving, unpigmented relatives of centipedes and millipedes, which feed on decaying organic matter and plant roots.

MAKE MURDER HARDER.
Since rare birds are so popular - here's another one. Helmeted Honeyeaters are close to extinction, so Healesville Sanctuary is breeding them for later release in their Fighting Extinction program.

NEW EPISODE! This week Victoria talks about all the non-mammals that make "milk" for their young. Head's up. It's gross. Kirk then brings us the story of a woman who survived being apparently frozen solid and brought back to life.
