Definitely a human. Certainly not just two droids in a lab coat.

Just left the theater after seeing 28 Years Later.

That… was a fever dream beginning to end.

Somehow, more so than the previous two.

If I had to describe it I’d say it was as if all George Romero zombie films had a love child with A Clockwork Orange.

I liked it, but I expect it will be divisive.

Well shit.

My desktop just fully locked. Just listening to some music, and working on some ssh sessions. Pretty much as low intensity as you can get.

It’s not at all a big deal. Truly.

It’s just striking to me because I’ve had this system running Linux for a few years now and I cannot recall the last time that happened (when I wasn’t doing something obviously silly).

I needed to stand up and walk around anyway.

#MicroCenter side quest for #3DPrinter parts complete.

I have a LOT of issues with #BambuLabs regarding the direction they are going with their platform. Specifically the objectively needless proprietary lock-in. To the point that, as things stand, my next 3DPrinter absolutely will not be one of theirs.

However, I must give high marks for their approach to user serviceability,, documentation and ensuring replacement parts are not only available, but reasonably priced.

My most recent issue has been solved by replacing a cable, and it cost less than $7 USD.

Addendum: It seems the data cable for my multi-material system has gone bad.

I am grateful to be within driving distance of #MicroCenter, but less grateful to have made this realization at the height of rush-hour.

It can wait until tomorrow.

Needed to perform some 3d printer repairs & maintenance today. Promptly spilled bare desiccant beads all over the place.

I just know I'm going to be finding these for months.
