UPDATE: t2Linux is actually pretty awesome. At the moment I m running Debian 13 on my MBP 2019 intel and with t2 Linux kernel, everything is supported: keyboard, WiFi, audio, Bluetooth, trackpad, touchpad, backlight. Though I had to reinstall couple of times but now I think this is something that can become my daily driver. Battery again is the only concern but that too seems fixable with some tweaking. Currently at 100% charging it estimates around 2.5hrs of battery life. Let us see:::))

folks at t2linux.org have done a great job to provide linux support for macs with t2 security chip, currently following their guide for debian 13 (trixie).
earlier i tried with pop_os and its battery estimation was only 1hr 10 mins, now biggest concern is to see how can i make debian to optimize battery the way macOS does.
the stupid liquid glass tahoe still gave me around 3-4 hrs of battery life. note that the battery isnt original but an OEM one.
RE: https://mastodon.social/@swsn/115470771504652571
this all comes down to the fact that whether or not i m able to setup keyboard, trackpad, wifi and audio drivers correctly as all those doesnt work out of the box thanks to apple's t2 security chip. if not, back to the buggy liquid glass update, or acutally i should just try to downgrade the macOS
Don’t ask why; because why not?

This applies to both macOS and iOS
Haven’t experienced anything more buggy than Apple’s Liquid Glass update.

Su from So is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fkn goooooood. Aha!!!!
Finally RSS/BJP’s reality is reaching the masses.
From Advani’s Rath Yatra (with bjp symbol over it) to Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, did Indian politics just come full circle? If the former started the polarisation, did the latter start neutralisation? What India witnessed between these two Yatras was a hell of a ride. What awaits us now is to see how the transition of power occurs; Will it be smooth or is there something more to it?
Happy Debian Day!!
Happy Independence* Day, folks!
