@f_dion Thanks! Was just going down a rabbit hole today.

@f_dion Ran across this while looking for some info on Tokyo Kogaku. Does the book have any mention of the Topcor non-Horseman view camera lenses they made? Thanks!

@carusb Very nice!

@carusb Ha! Luckily I'm a tripod guy, but good to know that you were shooting it at 50.

@AlexLuyckxPhoto Sort of oddly, the gold-foiled stuff is TMax 100. But, looking forward to the Reala!

Got some good expired film today. I've shot exactly one roll of Reala before. #believeinfilm

A roll of 120 Reala in a green and white box sitting on a wooden table..TMax 120 circa 1997 in classic gold foil in a yellow box on a wooden table.

Pic of the day: Holga CFN 120 and Lomography Redscale 100 film.
#FilmPhotography #BelieveInFilm #Holga #lomography

A four double exposure of a church tower against a sky full of tiny clouds shot on Redscale film. Each exposure is rotated 90 degrees, creating the effect of 4 towers sprouting from a single base hovering in the burning air.

@mrxmrt Thanks!

@kimmiechem2 This reminds me of the Silberra film I never got. The film they now sell in stores. Grr.

@westopher Thanks!!

The color version of one I posted last week. Taken with a Rittreck 5x7 and Portra 160. #believeinfim #filmphotography.

A golden Ford Capri of a 60s vintage sits in front of a black Ford abandoned in a sea of green grass and in front of a backdrop of trees.

@knapjack K.B. Canham Cameras gets buyers together and, when they have enough people, they do a special order straight from Kodak so you can get all of their films in 5x7. The best way to find out when they're putting together an order is to follow them on Facebook or call. I think I bought a stray box that he had left over after I called.

Milk trucks in Michigan. Taken with the Rittreck 5x7 and Portra 160.

A cream-colored abandoned milk truck sits in between a tree and a rusted white milk truck in an emerald field as a hill rises up behind it.

A color picture from the same field as last night's picture. Taken with my Rittreck 5x7 and Portra 160. #BelieveInFilm #FilmPhotography

A vintage black Ford sits at dawn in a bright-green field flanked by two other Fords as a falling-down house looms over them all. The car just behind the black Ford is yellow. The car to the right is burgundy and primer gray. The black Ford is facing 3 o'clock.

My B&W sheets got messed up somehow (I have my suspicions, but I won't cast aspersions.) Though, it led to a sort of fun sheet. This was with the Rittreck 5x7 and HP5.

Two abandoned cars sit in a field with a backdrop of trees. A Ford Capri pointing towards eight o'clock and the car in the background pointing towards nine o'clock. Light instrusions have fogged the edges of the sheet, giving it a cloudy dreamy feel.

@analogfusion Ha! Yes!! At one point I was Platinum with Marriott AND Diamond with Hilton.

2023-07-16

@analogfusion Agree. I usually try to get a corner room on the top floor to cut down on noise. Too much light is my thing. Usually put a towel at the bottom of the door, close the bathroom door and use the clips on the hangers to clip the curtains together.

@Sammish Love a TLR - you get two lenses for the price of one!

@analogfusion For a few years, I basically lived in a hotel during the week. The first night is always the worst. I read somewhere it was because our minds are trying to determine if the new habitat is safe.
