@Aleums Say, are you suggesting that Art no longer incarnates the Absolute Idea in material form??
Romanticism, news, synths, serialism, spacepop, jazz-funk, politics, cake, coffee, architecture and everything in between. Screaming for the hills/Norway. Founder and supreme leader of the Ted Mountainé Orchestra.
No particular expertise, but I have a degree in public planning and I know a lot about music. And I compose for fun.

This is a bit too much like the dramatic snippets you might hear in shows like the Traitors.
But I'm surprised there haven't been more experiments fusing opera vocals and electronic music in recent years - especially on the art music side. The massive, swashbuckling soundscapes you can create with modern effects and instruments are perfect for the genre.

... and even some more! Rainy day. 😁
... and then some.
All my worries... down the stream they flow!
I watched a K-drama, "Miss Night and Day," on Netflix recently. It was one of those moments where I listened to the voice of the actor (Jeong Eun Ji) thinking "I love the timbre of her voice. I wonder if she sings?" And lo and behold, does she ever! Great singer.

@mcmullin You may be right :) I love his long, unfolding lines and the way everything is woven together.
I suppose he suits my temperament especially – I often curse conductors for thinking no further than eight bars ahead (and it's not a criticism I reserve for Bruckner, haha!). But perhaps others might find him a bit long-winded?
I'm most familiar with his symphonies, but I have a few of his choral works – Te Deum, an album of Motets, and a couple of masses come to mind. I love all of those.
I'm watching University Challenge, and my entire sense of time and reality collapses, because all the guys look like members of the Larsen-Feiten Band.
Time for Bruckner. It's been a while!
The first two-and-a-half minutes of Romantische – you can't do a buildup better than that. Eat it, EDM-risers!
A perfect balance between synth bass and funk bass, making this a real winner.

Oh, no. Oh, well. I like my tennis trumpless. I guess the best I can hope for is some awkwardness.
"Thanks yous guys, honestly, you know, it was a really tough match… in the end I just tried to give it my best shot – but a caddie sure would have, how you say, helped a lot"
"Don't invest in the U.S."
Just a few months ago South Korea pledged to invest 350 billion dollars in the U.S. in exchange for easing tariffs on South Korean imports.
Yes, wouldn't it be quite something if someone decided to shut down the nicest, most civilized social platform I've been on for treating the users and their data with respect? It seems like a very 2025 thing to do.

@bhcomposer I definitely like the sound of that - I enjoy collaborations. I probably won't have time for music in the next few months, but I'll add a reminder in the calendar with your name for when I'm ready! 😁
@bhcomposer That's a great idea. 😀 It might be something to explore once summer starts fading. I like the thought of doing another concept/ "soundtrack" album with my newly serviced Juno left, right and center.
Thanks for the suggestion - and for enjoying the album!
Preparing my Facebook account for deletion tonight - and I came across this old nugget from Wikipedia that I posted in 2013. The edit is still there!
"It contains only seven tracks; however, the tracks are some of the longest he ever recorded. As a result, the length of the album is longer than many of his others."
