@dlikdh that's the one, thanks! Have you seen the series? Is the rest of it just as good?
@grahamdunning !! @ankaph knew it. it's a great clip, and now I want to see the whole series :-)
@tjaap I think it might be this scene from the Wu Tang Clan series
@ankaph ooooh that is awesome. thank you so much, that was a real itch in my brain π
Help me find this video: I remember seeing a short film (part of a documentary?) a few years back of a hip-hop artist buying a record in a record store and then taking samples from it. The sampling is shown with actors playing musicians that appear or disappear as the producer is selecting their tracks. I think at one point only the drummer gets to stay. The producer is shown with his father or grandfather who talks to him about cutting up the old record. Can you tell me which video that was?
@andy_warb you get an inflatable one--the fancier ones are not too bad to sleep on!
@andy_warb ooh very nice
@creativeCodeBLN @hamoid this was fun :-) Thank you for organizing!
Apparently fireworks safety is less of an issue in Germany than it is in The Netherlands. These people were standing on a crowded balcony, their kids lighting fireworks without safety goggles or cotton fuses and watching it go up from maybe half a meter away. It was just scary to watch!
Happy new year from Berlin!
The reason using Github makes me so unhappy is because it feels like doing admin, which I really hate. I know millions of people thinks it's awesome but for me it's exactly the wrong mix of uninteresting and complicated. My brain just won't remember how to do things like pull requests.
(I feel like there should a dumbed down version of it, a website that looks like it was made for children. Don't tell me that I should make that and put that on Github because I don't know how π )
Making the snow settle higher than a couple of pixels without it looking like growing mould turned out to be kind of hard, but I think I have it π βοΈ βοΈ #creativecoding #p5
For Coderdojo (volunteers teaching kids how to code) I made this P5.js christmas card.
The card even has object-oriented snow!

This is the step-by-step guide I made for it (in Dutch): https://coderdojo-nijmegen.nl/instructies/p5.js-kerstkaart/

@deckers they released a new album last year, after 27 years, and are doing live gigs again. I rarely go to concerts but didn't want to miss this one π
Very, very excited to see Galliano live gig tonight in The Hague! Bringing my 'Prince of Peace' single from 32 years ago hoping to get it signed because I am seventeen again :-D
