I guess I haven't really been active over here (I've kinda switched to Bluesky), but here's my top 10 albums of March according to #ListenBrainz! discovered Ellie Spectacular and rediscovered Blank Banshee last month, and I've been listening to more albums too~

@metabrainz @okwithmydecay that's honestly been the biggest part of my workflow when sharing these anyplace, so I'm quite looking forward to it~ set the settings right, download the image, copy from my Stats page, then spend 5 minutes making the alt text list-shaped from that... it's quite a bit of work, lol

@Flaky I feel like *eventually* #ListenBrainz can fill the gap too~ the main issue at the moment of course is MusicBrainz's coverage of new releases (which also might not be genre tagged in the first place)

that said, a lot of my music discovery is through MusicBrainz editing and YouTube recommendations... so take that for what it's worth, lol

setting up a #Bluesky account to try it out, and it's got a feature I think #mastodon / #fediverse could really use~ one of my gripes here is I can never tell if what's behind that "sensitive content" warning will be *just a little bit saucy* or hardcore porn until I hit it (tho I think part of that is one of the bots I follow, but I've seen the issue on public and federated timelines too)

I can probably fiddle around with filters for similar results, but that's more work than most would like…
