Thanks to @unfa and youtu.be/Ox9HiA9Wdlc?t=907 I made my first IR using LSP Profiler. The trick was to calibrate as my input was too quiet and the plugin didn't detect what it needed to detect. I saw the input meter jumping and I thought that was enough. Of course, my first IR is absolute rubbish, so I won't publish it, but in the following months I'll try to capture IR of my guitar cabinet. I hear it's quite rare sounding cabinet, so why not share it with the world 馃槂

For Unfa, a promise I'll do it with Open Source OS, and it won't be Linux. I hope you can forgive me 馃槂

Asking for a friend ;)

A little (YTP) never hurt anybody. This is a guilty pleasure of mine if I have something like that:
youtube.com/watch?v=cOXCrxM45Sk
I used to enjoy animations that also used heavy sentence mixing to create new lines out of the hundreds of recorded ones for the game.
It is quite a unique form of art - taking recorded voice lines and chopping them up to make the voice say something else (and ).
The beauty is in how simple it is at it's core, yet how extreme it can be.

Don't think that lack of updates here means lack of progress on Liblast!
At thew start of the year, we've formed a new Team, and since we've been doing weekly work and team meetings. Nearly all of it happens in Liblast Framework repository, so you might haven't noticed:

codeberg.org/Liblast/liblast-f

We're building the framework as a foundation for the game, and for future games too.

If you'd want to be a fly on the wall, or talk to us, join our online community on Zulip:

is an OG video educator. He's been making educational videos before YouTube was a thing. And despite having a million subscribers on YT, his videos have usually views in the tens of thousands, and not hundreds of thousands as you'd expect.
He must've made some enemies at YouTube HQ, because he is doing excellent work teaching about technology.

He will teach you how to build robots, Linux servers and web apps.

A creative outburst.

I spent some time With Godot 4.4 today, and took it for a ride. Feels a bit like demoscene :D

The project in ZIP is under 16K ;)

I'll probably drop the source on Codeberg soon so you can run this and see it in motion.

Here's a KDE Plasma 6 power feature you probably had no idea existed.

Hit Meta+T on your keyboard.

You can define tiles on each of your screens.

Now grab a window and hold shift - it will snap to the closest tile!

This way you can arrange windows on your screen(s) in a way that will keep them sharing your screen's area without ever overlapping.

Doing this manually always took so much time and was so fiddly...

You're welcome!

@ApostateEnglishman Ah, my intent was that "creator" here was just a human, creating things that convey a human experience, but I am a christian so I think I agree with your interpretation, that you don't agree with - if that makes sense. If I were to mention God, I'd capitalize the "Creator" :D
