@nelson Check out “the beach” area of Chelsea (Fulham Road & Park Walk a good anchor cross street). Lots of community because of the big hospital nearby but tube still 15 minutes away so not touristy. Called the beach as it was quite sandy and a flood plain for The Thames in Victorian London and folks would come suntan here.

A few shots from a wander around New York yesterday. The autumn here is always lovely and if you look up it doesn’t feel as hopeless as the world seems to be these days.

Forgot how unpleasant a transcontinental red eye can be. Not sure I’ll be complaining about my relatively short daytime Europe flights for awhile.
