On Saturday June 7th, artist and researcher Ivan Henriques invites you to reimagine the creative design process during the ๐ฟ๐๐จ๐๐๐ฃ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ workshop, which fosters innovative practices that help us harmonize with the living world.
It poses an intriguing question: What would a creative design process and product look like if it were co-designed with an animal, plant, living material, or other elements from the natural world?

Last Sunday, on the 27th of April, artist Toni Kritzer invited us for an afternoon to feel into narratives of disability and illness in ecosystems, to practice (ecological) care in (more-than)human community, and to slow down to the pace of the slugs.
Pictured is the performance Toni gave in Het Glazen Huis, which was followed by a workshop in the Garden of Genomic Gastronomy.

Future Gardening: Gardening as Artistic Practice for Multispecies Worldbuilding
A growing exhibition with Genomic Gastronomy, Theun Karelse and de Onkruidenier
4 October - 1 December, 2024
Zone2Source, Het Glazen Huis, Amstelpark
Amsterdam is home to almost 1 million people. But besides people, there are trillions of other creatures: plants, animals, insects, who each run their lives in the city in their own way. How do we deal with a city of trillions of lives instead of 1 million inhabitants?
Zone2Source is pleased and excited to announce that, in addition to the Mondriaan Fund, we will receive full structural funding from AFK for the period 2025-2028. ๐
Thank you to our community, team, artists, volunteers, collaborators, participants, and visitors who continue to support and strengthen us.
We are over the moon and look forward to developing Amstelpark as a testing ground for the city's multi-species politics in the years to come.๐
Have you ever felt sad about disposing of plastic when it may end up in landfill? Bring your plastic waste to the Rietveldhuis until August 8th and join the How to Feed Your Plastomach live workshop with artist Elizabeth Demaray at 4:00pm on August 8th. This workshop can be attended in person or online via Instagram Live.
