Wizard Forest
110mm Macro
For Macro Photography you need to take you good time, find the right angle and try as good as you can to get the best possible sharpness at the right spot, here I chose the big red "dot" to focus on, not the front tip, but just behind the tip. It is by far best to use a real Macro Lens with MANUAL focusing, the Lens must have a long throw, then it is much easier to focus, do the first focus with the Lens and then you can move yourself a slightly bit back and forth until you nail the focus just where you want it to be. Be aware of how the background and the foreground looks like, use a larger aperture if it is too disturbing or get another angle. For this photo image I was laying flat to the ground to be able to get this shot, it is just about 1:1
