And the finish line! Which was about another mile from the last bridge. Shout out to the cheerleaders and marshals along the way, who were absolutely brilliant
I think the last 4 miles were walking on more blisters than feet!
Now to walk back home 😂

The last bridge! The 14th one I’ve crossed on the 13 Bridges Challenge 🤣
I give you Battersea Bridge
Crossing the 13th bridge today, Albert bridge. Although now I feel cheated cos this is actually the 12th on the official route (they didn’t count both Hungerford bridges!) 🤦♀️
The 12th bridge I’ve crossed today: Chelsea Bridge. We’re definitely back in the more aesthetically pleasing bridge part of town!
Vauxhall bridge is number 11. Couldn’t get a photo without the super sewer building site in the way but the rest is still pretty!
Bridge 10 is Lambeth Bridge, right by Lambeth Palace.
It’s beautiful along the river (away from the tourist areas); I should really do this more often!
Westminster bridge & about a million tourists to filter through! (Bridge 9)
Bridges 7 & 8… the two Hungerford bridges either side of the railway bridge. I’ve never crossed both on the same day before
Massive thank you to the marshals for the emergency sun cream 👍
Waterloo bridge (number 6 on the route)… 13 bridges, 13 London buses on Waterloo bridge! 😍
Bridge 5 (that I can actually cross)… the two Blackfriars Bridges - the railway bridge on the left & the foot & road bridge on the right
Bridge 4… the Millennium Bridge. With St Paul’s in the background, it’s a tourist trail as well as a charity walk!
Southwark bridge (number 3)… and it’s still sunny!
Bridge number two (& three behind it!)… far less pretty 🤣
Today’s the day! I’m looking very unfashionable in shorts & boots, but I figured that was the best for hot weather & ankle support! This will be the longest I’ve walked since fracturing my ankle a few months ago…
I’m at the (blue) start line of the @ssafa #13Bridges Challenge at Tower Hill, waiting to be allowed to go head to Tower Bridge. Just 10 miles to go!
