First @subfm show for 2025 incoming! It’s episode #204 and I’m super happy to have Joanna OJ from Paris as my guest this time. It’s a bit of a full circle moment as we both played in Vienna in January 2024 for Portals x disko404. That night I was blown away by her geeky selection that focussed on futuristic, abstract and challenging sounds without ever loosing the impact on the dancefloor. This approach is also reflected in the curation of her own label Caninal (check the recent release by Sunday Bath - its brilliant) and in her monthly radio show 'Canine à la furie‘ on Retreat Radio (Malmö, Sweden).

Expect fast paced rhythms around 160/80 bpm in her mix in hour two. I will do the usual warm up in hour one.
