Right at the beginning of the walk is the 'living networks' mini maze - a simple hall of mirrors but MORE... So squiggly! So colourful! So interesting to photograph with the 360 camera!

If you're interested in such things the bottom two pics (the 360 ones) are different projections of the same photo.

Photo of the Living Networks maze form the 2025 Enchanted Forest, taken from outside the maze. Against a black backdrop are a series of tall panels decorated with circles, and vertical squiggly lines, lit up in a variety of colours, from bright pinks, to yellow, blues and greens. The panels are maybe a couple of metres tall, and there are openings where people can walk through.Photo of the Living Networks maze from the 2025 Enchanted Forest, taken from outside the maze, but close up. The frame is filled with a series of tall panels decorated with circles, and vertical squiggly lines, lit up in a variety of colours, from bright pinks, to dark blue and greens, all appearing to overlap and merge.Photo of the Living Networks maze from the 2025 Enchanted Forest, taken from the centre of the maze with a 360 degree camera, held high above the panels. The surround is black, with some illuminated trees, and the maze forms an almost circle of light, with a zigzag shape in the middle - the path running through it.Photo of the Living Networks maze from the 2025 Enchanted Forest, taken from the centre with a 360 camera held high above the panels. The photo is shown in a slightly edited equirectangular projection, so the panels of coloured squiggles, circles and lights are spread our horizontally across the photo, with some illuminated trees behind.

An insightful comment on how different something can look depending on your starting position & how you bend it to your personal whims (OR I just really like Eastgate, Chester).

1. Eastgate clock taken from the city walls
2. View of the city walls & Eastgate Street taken from underneath the clock on the city walls
3. View along Eastgate Street taken from the street a short distance east of the clock
4. View along Eastgate Street taken from below the city walls & clock

A stack of 4 photos of the same location as described in the post. All are photos taken with a 360 degree camera and warped.
1. A tall ornate clock sticks up from the top against a blue sky. Warped stone buildings stick out to the left and right, curving slightly.
2. A dark photo with 4 circular views showing the street, paths and buildings in each direction.
3. The clock is central again, against a blue sky, but is shown perched on the stone archway of the city walls. To the left and right are mainly Tudor style buildings painted white with black wooden structure and decoration.
4. A dark photo where the left and right are the dark stone struts of the gateway arch. There are two semi circles showing the street view.

I like this, but I have never made such a spherical sphere from the 360 camera before - there is usually *something* jutting out.

This was taken on a walk through the salt marshes between Blakeney & Cley on the Norfolk coast & if you'd like to see what it's like in non-spherical form I'm going to add some more photos, as I took a few.

If you don't want to see what it's like in non-spherical form LOOK AWAY NOW, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LOOK AWAY.

*ahem*

A 360 degree photo warped into a sphere. It is an almost perfect circle, as it is a VERY flat landscape. Around the ball is a blue sky with thin white clouds circling. The sphere has a deep orange stripe running vertically across it - the raised marsh pathway - but there are other subtle stripes of golds and greens, through the different types of vegetation.

I took this photo while working on a story about Carnival in Brazil. In the back of an old warehouse, I came across this upside-down Obama figure wearing a Uncle Sam hat, right next to a blindfolded Lady Justice statue. Both covered in dust and completely forgotten. In times of political polarization and ideological battles, the scene really caught my eye.

Religion continues to play a significant role in shaping societies and public opinion, even among those who don’t follow a particular faith.

I captured this photo of a religious woman in Kyiv during the declaration of independence of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

A few days later, a major Russian news outlet used the same image to claim that the Ukrainian church had ceased to exist.

It’s a small example of how symbols and narratives are often caught in the middle of larger political and cultural disputes.

This photo is part of a project I worked on called Favela Kombat: Girls Fight Back, and it was truly something special to be part of. I spent time visiting different favelas across Rio de Janeiro, where I met women who had all faced some form of violence, loss, or struggle. What connected them was a powerful choice they made: they decided to fight back through Mixed Martial Arts.

Each of them had a dream. Some hoped to one day step into the UFC ring. Others simply wanted to feel strong again. In a place where opportunities are often scarce, they found strength in the rhythm of training, in the sweat of each round, and in the sisterhood they built along the way.

As a photographer, I was there to document it all. But more than taking photos, I left with stories, lessons, and a deep admiration for their resilience. These women showed me that fighting back isn't just about fists. It's about reclaiming who you are, one punch at a time.

Created a new sequence of #360degrees #photosphere images for #Mapillary and #Panoramax in Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park, just days before a huge #fire destroyed much of the area. Will see if it's possible to access the park again later. api.panoramax.xyz/#focus=pic&m
