Snow began about 1pm, with slippery roads, poor visibility. Visitors at the zoo pretty much nil. So my boss sent me home early, before the snow got worse. Nice and warm and cozy at home. Snow plows began rumbling around the neighborhood streets about a half-hour ago (5pm). I was warming up yesterday's holiday leftovers for supper when I heard noises in my own driveway. Peeked out the door, and found a young neighbor with a snowblower clearing my drive for me! Called out a grateful thanks, and ducked back inside to eat supper.
So there are my Three Good Things for today!
1. Kind boss shooing me home early, with her promise that I won't lose any pay by it.
2. Kind neighbor remembering his older neighbor and clearing my snow for me.
3. Brian's son sending me home with plentiful yummy leftovers yesterday.
