My plan is to call my Senators (both are GOP) on Monday and leave a message; something to the effect of “I hope you saw the massive turnout for protests all around the country and world this past weekend. You should maybe take a cue from this and actually represent ALL of your constituants - many of whom are decidedly not pleased that you’ve decided to grovel at Trump’s feet rather than do your job as a member of Congress. Now, do what we elected you to do: Reject the HB1 budget reconciliation bill, reign in the overreach of the executive branch, and defend the Constitution as per your oath of office.”
