Some years ago I built this sweet little 4w valve amp, based on a #Fender #5F1 circuit. This weekend I gave it 3 coats of shellac, to get that classic Fender tweed vibe. I was so happy with the results that I got out the #Fuji camera, put on a vintage Soviet #Helios lens and took a few sun dappled shots. I now envy the relicing team at Fender, who I imagine sit around smoking, drinking coffee and inhaling the rich walnut aroma of turpentine and #shellac all day.
