This is a concept I've always been fascinated by - the small world theory. Six degrees of separation, or fewer, between any two people you can think of. Seems highly improbable, but as Steve Strogatz puts it - "The math begs the question, not of "how is it possible that the world is that small" but, "how could it be otherwsie?"

Margaret writes, "My chain is made up of books I abandoned books and books I loved." What an unusual combination! Yet it makes for very interesting reading.
