One thing that needs pointing out is that the Cincinnati police released heavily edited footage to the public of Ryan Hinton's murder at the hands of police.
If you watch the footage released in the police press conference or on the news this particular frame is edited out. But if you go directly to the BWV source you can see that Ryan Hinton was CLEARLY gunned down for little to no reason.
He never points a gun at officers, he only ran and was shot in the back.

Police conspired to violently attacks anti-genocide protesters at the University of California, Los Angeles last year, according to a suit filed last week in Los Angeles Superior Court.
At the height of the school’s encampment against Israel’s war on Gaza last spring, one of hundreds across the country, a mob of pro-Israel protesters attacked pro-Palestine protesters for more than four hours. On the night of April 30, 2024, police stood by and watched as counter-protesters aimed and shot fireworks, sprayed chemical agents, harassed, and sexually assaulted pro-Palestine protesters, students and faculty alleged last month in a separate, ongoing lawsuit.

The day after the melee, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, UCLA administrators, and seven different law enforcement agencies laid plans to dismantle the school’s encampment for good.
UCLA invited multiple outside police forces to campus to clear the encampments on May 1. More than 700 police officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Los Angeles Police Department, California Highway Patrol, the University of California Police Department, and private security were on campus the night of the raid.
Protesters are now suing the state of California, which oversees California Highway Patrol, and the city of Los Angeles, which oversees the LAPD, for violence against the demonstrations. The police fired more than 50 rounds of rubber bullets at protesters, striking several people in the head; some of the injuries sent demonstrators to the hospital.

Anti genocide protesters took over a Boeing funded building on the University of Washington campus this evening.
After six hours of student protest cops have begun raiding the building and arresting students. According to scanners nine may be under arrest.

I’m not sure what the optimal move is here as an onlooker but if even a quarter of the hundreds in that room stood up and took one step into the aisles, faced the handful of state troopers and refused to budge it would force the now-surrounded cops to stop performing a fascism and start shitting their collective pants at the prospect they might have to fight their way out (and risk sparking a true uprising)

A GoFundMe was setup for Ryan Hinton's family, the 18 year old cops killed last week.
It still hasn't hit it's modest $10k goal yet.
They haven't posted an update on the jailing of Ryan's father or his alleged role in killing a cop in revenge. But its clear this family will be needing support to any semblance of justice or fair investigation of Ryan's death.

Black people have been talking about the shooting death of a Black teenager, Ryan Hinton, who was shot while running from police. Cops had conflicting stories one said they saw him with a gun another said he saw him drop the gun then run. Either way the kid was killed
Over the weekend the teenager's father is alleged to have killed another police officer by running them over with a car in retaliation for the death of his son.
