Today one year ago I've had my first #amateurRadio QSO in #CW. Since then I have worked 1401 more with 1115 different stations from 89 confirmed DXCCs on 6 continents.
It's been a ride and during the last year CW has become my main mode of operation.
It's awesome and fun and I'll continue to do it.

Die Aktivitätswoche ist KEIN CONTEST. Deshalb werden keine Checklogs benötigt, sie sind auch nicht sinnvoll. Honoriert wird normaler Funkbetrieb in #CW Contest-QSOs werden nicht gewertet. Die Veranstaltung ist auch für Kurzwellenhörer interessant.

Heute findet wieder das #QRS Net der #AGCW statt. #CW mit niedrigem Tempo für OPs, die es auch einmal ohne Hektik angehen lassen wollen, für Newcomer und Wiedereinsteiger. #DL0SLW ist heute aus Kamen um 20 Uhr Ortszeit bei 3555/3556 kHz im 80m-Band zu hören.

Gestern war AGCW VHF/UHF CW Contest. Die Teilnahme war ziemlich dünn, gute Bedingungen gab es auch keine 🙄
Spaß gemacht hat's trotzdem 🙂

Highlight war DM800KM im Raum Dresden (JO71), immerhin über 400 km, und ne Ecke wo ich selten hinkomme (funktechnisch).

As I promote #MorseCode a lot, why am I not in #AGCW? That is the main German #hamRadio Morse code organization.

At the time, AGCW tried to convince our administration to keep Morse in ham radio exams. 🤮

Their main argument is interesting, though: "Morse code allows poor hams outside the Western countries affordable access to the ham fun. So we should all (be forced to) learn it."

Ergebnis vom AGCW VHF Contest war heute nicht so doll, nur 20 Verbindungen, recht wenig Beteiligung. ODX war 651 km mit IK4GNG.
