@nedraggett I didn't go to see it at my local #AMC & I'm not going to subscribe to pay to see it on #Disney either.
I'll watching for FREE on any #AltStreaming channel that has it BUT I am going to buy the #DVD if/when one is released because I want to have all 3 of the #Tron movies to make a set.

I watched a movie double bill at my local #AMC today.
The 1st of the 2 was #PredatorBadlands, which I think was a decent 5th (or 7th depending on how you count them) addition to the #Predator movie franchise.
The Pedator in the movie is named Dek. He is a "runt" who has a Napoleon complex as well as "daddy" issues. His father kills his brother who is trying to protect him & he travels to a planet, where everything has evolved to kill everything else, in order to find a super monster named Kalish in order to prove himself worthy of being recognized as a "man" by his father & his clan.
His relationship with Thia an initially legless android who helps him navigate the planet & its dangers allows for some dialog & helps to provide a means to empathize with Dek.
There's a lot of great CGI, a excellent sound track, some nods to films like Star Wars, ET & Aliens plus some new & innovative ideas presented in the film.
I'd give it a 7 out of 10 & will buy the DVD if/when one is issued for it.

While I was at my local #AMC yesterday, I saw a trailer for #Greenland2 due to be released on Jan 9, 2026.
But I didn't recall ever hearing about or seeing #Greeland1 (2020), which is not surprising because it was NEVER released theatrically.

Taking a day off to just loaf around the house. Woke up at 7 & still haven't gotten out of bed yet at 11. 🤗

Planning on making a day of it to watch both of them tomorrow with a break for lunch.

Just left my local #AMC after watching #Sisu2: Road to Revenge, which IMO is as good in my opinion as Sisu1.
Sisu is about a "legendary" Finnish commando -- Aatami -- who endures & overcomes unfathomable odds to defeat his enemies & achieve his goals.
In the Sisu1, his goal was to protect & retrieve the gold he found mining from Nazi looters.
In Sisu2, it's to dismantle his home -- where his family was killed -- which is now in Soviet territory back across the border to Finland and to kill the man who was responsible for the murder of his family in the process.
Sisu 1 & 2 most closely resemble the #BruceWillis in #DieHard series in terms of the determination of the hero in enduring extreme hardships in order to overcoming his opposition.
Some scenes are excruciating & cringe-worthy, while others are laughable but they all combine to make for a very entertaining movie.
I'd give both Sisu 1 & 2 at 7 out of 10.
I watched #Wicked2 at my local #AMC yesterday.
Apparently, the movie is designed to follow the musical (rather than the original movie). I've seen Wicked (the musical) on stage but it was a very long time ago & I've forgotten most of what I saw.
Most people have not seen the theatrical version of Wicked, they've only seen the original movie & they probably will be as confused as I was by what they saw in Wicked2 as I was.
So, what I liked least about Wicked2 were the superficial tie-ins to the original; none of which I'll reveal here for fear of "spoiling" the movie for those who haven't seen it yet but the differences are obvious to anyone who has seen the original.
I also thought that Elphaba was depicted as too naive & inept in attempting to expose the Wizard & save the animals.
And lastly there were too many transitions, especially near the end, that were never adequately explained or developed.
So, FWIW, I'd only rate Wicked2 a 5 of 10 vs a 7 for the Wicked1. 🤷♂️
