Just rewatched #StarWars #ThePhantomMenace for the first time in years. Yes, it is even more Disney than the Disney sequels are and yes, JarJar is an annoying twat. But it’s quite fun watching all the #ANewHope foreshadowing around Anakin. Spinning his fighter, pursuing people at high speed down canyons and so on. The other films don’t do so much of that iirc.
