Whilst breathing this sucks, at least it changes the light to a orange-ish tinge, like having almost-sunset daylong instead of around 22:00h.

Did you know Project 2025, trump and the GOP's plan, is pro-smog?
They think "restoring natural visibility by 2064" might be disruptive and unrealistic.
Being able to see through air is a bad thing to them (page 424).
I've been sincerely and deeply grateful that the past few weeks have been completely unlike the May 5, 2023-to-October(?) conditions of last year, including generally good air quality.
It's been a wonderful, gentle spring and summer.
But now, full-on anxiety is back in force for the foreseeable future. 😢
(At least #solstice is past so our nights stretch slightly longer every passing day!)
And I suppose that's the crux of my argument: the whole "+" thing for a 1-10 scale is NOT improving usability.
For me, as my now-regular use of the EPA numbers have shown, the more precise numbers are, in this case, better for practical reasons. I can make better choices in the midst of constantly bad yet changeable conditions, and I do so.
Once again I shake my head at the utter uselessness of #Canada's #AirQuality scale of 1-10 when all it can say about today is that the quality is "11".
Srsly. 🙄
The USA's EPA scale is FAR more useful for me and my lungs making better #safety choices during #wildfire #smoke conditions.
