@texttheater yes, because #MDA, unlike #Hercules, does nit have per-pixel controls, but uses #Codepages to get text rendered.
- So any #AsciiArt needs proper algorithms to approximate things...

Alex Harri wrote an image-to-ASCII renderer which, unlike similar ones, doesn't treat characters like pixels but uses shape to render contrast and sharpness.
